Two examples

Example 1

23 of 24 is
  1. Find 13 first: 24 ÷ 3 = 8.
  2. Then 2 of those: 2 × 8 = 16.

Answer: 16

Example 2

35 of 40 is
  1. 15 of 40: 40 ÷ 5 = 8.
  2. 3 × 8 = 24.

Answer: 24
