2 14 ÷ 1 12 =
  1. Make each one improper: 94 ÷ 32.
  2. Multiply by the reciprocal: 94 × 23 = 1812 = 32.

Answer: 1 12

Example 2

3 13 ÷ 5 =
  1. Make it improper: 103. And 5 = 51.
  2. 103 × 15 = 1015 = 23.

Answer: 23
